What TestLab measured

The hostname did not resolve. On 2026-09-14 the probe got no DNS answer for this name, so no QUIC or WebTransport connection could be established to it by any client.

This is a fact about the name and not about a relay: there is nothing behind it to have behaved well or badly. Nothing on this page is a measurement of software.

ord.abr.moqtail.dev was published as a relay on the moqtail.dev fleet and no longer resolves — NXDOMAIN as of 3 September 2026, and dns-not-found again in the sweep of 10 September 2026.

It is listed as published rather than withdrawn on purpose. The record says the name stopped resolving; it does not say the operator announced the endpoint’s retirement, and those are different claims. Cloudflare’s draft-07 endpoint is the case where the stronger one can be made.

Elsewhere running MOQtail

9 other endpoints run the same implementation. Each is a separate deployment at its own version and configuration, so what one answers is not a claim about the others. All of them are run by the same operator as this one.
